A Warm Welcome Awaits You
Virtual Tour (Coming Soon)
We are currently creating a virtual tour to help you explore our church from wherever you are. In the meantime, here is a glimpse of what you can expect when you visit us in person.
What to Expect When You Visit
From the moment you step through the doors, you will be greeted by our friendly stewards and welcome team. We want you to feel at home straight away, so you will be offered a welcome bag with a few gifts and helpful information about who we are and what we do.
Our Sunday Services
8.30am – Holy Communion
This is a quieter, more reflective service held in the chancel (the space towards the front of the church). We sit in the choir stalls, creating an intimate setting for worship.
- Service booklets are available with either text-only or illustrated formats—choose whichever suits you best.
- Children are warmly welcomed and offered worship bags, tailored for different age groups, with activities to help them engage.
- The service is led by one of our clergy team, who will gently guide you through each part.
Receiving Communion
Everyone is welcome at the Communion table. If you would like to receive:
- Hold out one hand for bread
- Hold out two hands for bread dipped in wine
- Keep your hands lowered if you would prefer a prayer of blessing
9.30am – Family Service
A relaxed and engaging service for all ages, held in the centre of the church.
- Families with young children are welcome to use our Play and Pray space, with toys and resources for little ones.
- We begin together with prayer, songs, and a short liturgy before moving into age-based groups.
Groups include:
- Reception
- Years 1–5
- Years 6–8+
Adults gather in the hall, while children meet in their own groups. Everyone explores the Bible reading in ways that are meaningful and accessible, before coming back together for a final song and blessing.
- A Sensory Space is available throughout for children with additional needs.
- Our Music Collective often leads worship, with lyrics displayed on screens.
After the service, refreshments are served in the coffee bar—an ideal time to chat and connect.
11.00am – Morning Worship
A more traditional service with organ music and choir.
- We follow the Common Worship liturgy of the Church of England.
- Communion is shared every other week.
- Hymns are sung alongside a contemporary worship song.
For families:
- Worship bags are available for children
- The Sensory Space remains open and accessible
At Communion:
- Gluten-free wafers are available
- Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic wine are offered
Simply let the minister know your preference.
After the service, refreshments are served in the coffee bar—a welcoming space to meet others and feel part of the community.
We Are Here for You
We look forward to welcoming you. If there is anything you need to help you feel comfortable or able to worship, please speak to one of our stewards (you will spot them wearing red lanyards).
