Charities we support
The Children’s Society

Mossley Hill Church has for very many years been a strong supporter of The Children’s Society. It is the Church of England’s only children’s charity and works with children of all faiths and none.
It is a national charity working to transform the hopes and happiness of young people facing abuse, exploitation and neglect. They support them through their most serious life challenges and campaign tirelessly for the big social changes that will improve the lives of those who need hope most.
Our Christingle service takes place on Christmas Eve each year and is a wonderful way to start Christmas as well as an opportunity to raise funds for The Children’s Society
Asylum Link Merseyside
We have had links to Asylum Link for many years through several of
our congregation who volunteer with them. As a church we give regular
food donations.
It is a safe space for Asylum Seekers and Refugees, to meet,
relax and find out about the community they have been dropped into. They
offer a wide range of services which are centred on the principles of Friendship and Welcome.
Asylum Link does not get any funds from the
government. It is supported by a variety of trust funds and donations.
It needs much more to continue functioning and they depend on donations
of money and goods.
