Volunteering
Volunteers play a vital part in the life of Mossley Hill Church, and we are always glad to welcome new people into our community.
Volunteer with Us Safely
Mossley Hill Church is committed to safeguarding and to promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We follow the Church of England’s safeguarding policy and safer recruitment guidance, alongside recognised national best practice. This includes the use of clear role descriptions, a robust application process and, where appropriate, the taking up of references and an enhanced DBS check.
All volunteers are given clear role descriptions and the support they need, and training will be provided to help you feel confident in your role. By following these procedures, we aim to create a safe, welcoming environment where all can flourish.
For more details, please see our Safeguarding Policy or contact keepsafe@mossleyhillchurch.org.uk / 07872 305691.
