vacancy: Youth Missional Worker

Are you energised by youth and schools work, and would like to work together with a team of staff and volunteers to grow young disciples?

Are you committed to the flourishing of the local Church, and able to root your ministry in a missional Church context?

We are looking for a Youth Missional Worker to do just that!

The successful applicant will oversee Mossley Hill Church Youth work, and connect with young people both through community activities in and around the parish and also through the LNG Schools project.

They will work with the leadership team at Mossley Hill Church to implement and develop a strong mission and discipleship strategy for youth work. Working with volunteers and families will be central to that task.

They will be part of the Liverpool Next Generation (LNG) Youth and Schools project.

They will develop a team of volunteers, network with parents, and share resources and receive support from the wider LNG Youth team.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about youth mission and discipleship: who will support and encourage young people to grow in their faith, knowledge of the bible, understanding of being a disciple of Jesus, awareness and capacity to live a Spirit-led life, and to become active members of their local church family.

Full Time (37.5 hours). Requires flexible schedule with regular Sundays, some daytimes, weekends, and evenings.

Permanent contract – Salary £25,000 plus 6 weeks holiday and pension contributions
