On Sunday 16th September we did church differently as we met together at 8.30am for a said holy communion service then at 9.30am over 140 of us went out in teams to litter pick through the parish and connect with our community.
It was a really successful day with over 30 bags of rubbish collected
We wanted this to be a blessing to our community and we ,in return, felt blessed by the comments of appreciation we received from those who stopped to talk.
Thank you to everyone who came and those who helped with the organisation and refreshments.
We are hoping that this might be an annual event so watch this space!
